Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. We are a group of twelve Anglican churches stretching from the Teme Valley up the slope of Clee Hill, and taking in parts of Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire

We are churches on a journey; "learning to live life with God...and each other." Look around the site click on the links above or if you are in the area, drop in to any of our churches and see us.

PRAYER OF THE WEEK

We have taught our people to use prayer too much as a means of comfort – not in the original and heroic sense of uplifting, inspiring, strengthening, but in the more modern and baser sense of soothing sorrow, dulling pain, and drying tears – the comfort of the cushion, not the comfort of the Cross.

COLLET.

Almighty God, whose most dear Son went not up to joy but first he suffered pain, and entered not into glory before he was crucified: mercifully grant that we, walking in the way of the cross, may find it none other than the way of life and peace; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
